The Resilient Society Department of the ERATOSTHENES CoE, with an impact to the public sector and the industry, focuses on research and services tailored to ensure the societies’ wellbeing, make economy sectors resilient, exploit efficiently the available resources, and protect civilians and businesses from natural threats and illegal actions in respect to smuggling/refugees trafficking in the surrounding seawith.

The Big Earth Data Analytics department of ERATOSTHENES CoE focusses on research, developments and ERATOSTHENES CoE maintained systems to enable the management, exploitation and the analytics of large amounts of geoinformation data derived from space borne satellite images as well as from GIS and socioeconomic sources.
