Dr. Martin Sudmanns is researcher at the Department of Geoinformatics at the Paris Lodron University Salzburg, Austria, and co-head of the research lab EO Analytics. His research focuses on methods and applications for big Earth observation data. Research topics include semantic analysis of Earth observation images, automated image processing, spatio-temporal analysis, and geodata management with data cubes and spatial databases. He completed his PhD in 2020 in the topic of big Earth observation data and received several awards, including the Copernicus Masters Prize Austria 2020.
