Invited Talk by Dr. Paraskevas Nikolaou on “Transportation Systems”

Dr. Paraskevas Nikolaou completed his undergraduate studies at the School of Rural and Surveying Engineering at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He further advanced his academic journey at the University of Cyprus, where he earned an M.Sc. in Civil Engineering, specializing in Construction and Transport Infrastructure Management. In December 2020, he was awarded a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Cyprus. His doctoral research, titled "Regional Spatio-Temporal Explanatory Modelling of Macroscopic Transportation Information for Supporting Decision-Making Processes," provided innovative insights into transportation modeling and decision support systems. From May 2022 to January 2024, Dr. Nikolaou conducted postdoctoral research at Aristotle University, focusing on the spatio-temporal interplay between urban development and transportation systems.
